So... My manager / best friend has been getting lazier and lazier over the last couple years as well as starting to feel more entitled... I went over to his house tonight// ( i rent it and pay most of the rent so they have a nice place to stay) I went to his closet and found a couple pounds of decent nugs he had stolen from me.. I had a really good feeling he had been taking my indoor as well whenever i harvested.. Nothing crazy but probably a pound or two out of each 24 pound harvest ( it adds up) as well as the fact he was working less and making his money on stealing instead of working..... I love the kid to death and am gonna confront him in the next day or so and most likely fire him and not give him his large bonus for the year.... SUPER BUMMER.. he's a really good friend and it won't ruin our friendship but it just sucks to have to deal with this..

your suppose to confront him when it happens not wait. how can you know it wont ruin the friendship if you have not confronted him yet. ruined is a subjective term. superbummer to me means that it already ruined it and probably will end your friendship with him. some people are just junkies. chances are he will get upset at you for going into his closet because its the same as him going into your grow.

I'm very, very sorry to read this and I have an idea of how you feel. There are some people you love no matter what, but that just cannot mean to your own detriment.
However, how certain are you that the bud you found was from your grow? Is there *any* chance he might have had something else going? I know, probably reaching, but reach I must. We all know how difficult bridge-building is when you're growing, so the prospect of burning it down is not taken lightly.
I also have to agree with @grayarea here, you must address this with him ASAP.

I'm going up to Tahoe for the night and he is still in the city. Gonna confront him when I get home. It is definetly my ganja @Seamaiden. No doubt about it. It sucks. Probly gonna have to have him stop working for me and move on. I'm sure we will still be friends. Just sucks it had to go down like this.

Hey mendo buddy to bad there is a border between us i would partner up with yeah.. You know having true partners are just bout impossible to find give a person a few feet he will take a mile ..I have done some nice grows where sure its all gung ho but truth is partners always slack off ,, there into it first couple grows then all of a sudden your litterally fighting to get them to put in the work..

i do not think partner ship in the MJ world works no matter what greed , envy, and thet occur.
i had same thing happen to me gave a guy a great gig and he was skimming
they always think that you owe them or something ..
i mean this sounds stupid but i usally weight buds wet
and was out of country when trimming time came ,, so told him listen my women will come by grab couple plants trim and so on until its done DO NOT touch em ( this guy trimmed like shit )
anyways as plants were being trimmed you know 3/4 pounders the wet weight was gradually dropping for instance from first plant to last plant almost 300 gram dry difference when calculting wet to dry ratio
i was furious
and confronted him when i unloaded the weed My connections anyways went to give him his share , less what he stole off me and same time told him were done no need to steal from me i was 50 // 50 but here is your 40 percent cut and were done you still once from me and our trust is gone sorry i find someone else

Everything is all chill with my good friend. Been homies since grade school and yes we fight sometimes and he did take a shit ton of littles but I did ask him to try to get rid of some for me. He should have told me he was taking two pounds of them and gonna hide them in his closet. But whatever I'm way to fucking busy right now to not have my main manager and he wasn't trying to take anything from me that would actually affect me. ( maybe I'm to nice. Who knows. ). Gonna finish the year strong with everyone and then make my decisions for next year.

yup your to nice or to medicated/sedated. its kinda like if he took them sold them then spent the money and never told you. emotions and feelings mean less then facts because you can fake them or buy them, facts cant be bought only sold. How you can you be sure that was all he took?
