I found an alternative to starter plugs to cold my clones in my rubber maid aerocloner. I used pipe cleaners and bent me a stand/stem holder. It holds the stem of the cut down the middle.

You just tighten up on the stem so it doesn't fall through and Vioala! It holds the cutting and it's easy to adjust!

Hey fellow farmers!! So upon checking up on my girls this A.M. I noticed a lil dry white residue on just a few leaves. I know they are super young and this is prolly nothing but the other part of me is saying PM PM PM!!!! It's a bitch bc I just recently lent my Horsetail Tea to a buddy who is now outta town and his place is all locked up for about 2 weeks. I have tons of products here at my place but not sure which one or which combination of products would be a good counter measure just in case this is the early on set of PM. Please suggestions welcome!!! I got a lil of CAPS foliar left, would that help? Like I said if not that I have almost everything organic and natural that you would expect a garden to have and then some you wouldn't..Anyway again please lemme knoe! Here are the most recent pics from this morning, I didn't highlight any of the "PM lookin" spots in the pics but you still might be able to see them.....Oh and lastly is a pic of my ghetto humidifier bc it is the only thing I have found to raise humidity in my tent. If I do nothing it sits at 25%, I have tried 3 diff kinds of humidifiers with ZERO success and towel/bucket thing seems to work well!! Oh and please don't mind the disgustingly dirty saucers in the pics...TODAY IS CLEANING DAY so everything will be spic and span by tonight!

Thought I would drop a little update on my tent. Currently at day 9 from flip and I'm really excited to see how this round turns out. The plants are super healthy and loving life. I've still got them under 600w of MH, but switching to the hps tonight before lights on. Hopefully they keep stretching a good bit so I can get the screen mostly filled.

Do you foliar feed? I put a drop or two of soap in my foliar to get it to really stick to the leaves, and I'll get that white film look to the very ends where the water drips from the leaves. That's kind of what it looks like to me.

Are you going to add a 2nd layer to the trellis when they get taller?

I have yet to try using a trellis. I read how the majority of people kinda use a trellis as a support system as opposed to doing a true "SCROG". If i understand correctly a true scrog being where you REAALLY stretch a plant with the net, kinda like if you had 1 plant in your space under that net taking up the whole space. Then again it is just something I read. How do you like using a trellis? How does it help you and how many times have you used one? Have you grown without? Sorry for all the Q's but your setup looks nice and clean and makes me maybe wanna try a trellis next round..

Yes I will definitely add a second trellis. I agree a true scrog is 1 maybe two plants under the screen and actually weaving the branches in the net to make them grow laterally. Each little bud site then turns into a little cola. I'm sort of doing this but just started the training in flower. So I'll go maybe another 3 days on training then I will add a second trellis and guide the shoots through as they stretch.

No prob man. I saw it and thought it looked like mine. Sometimes I'll give them a good rinsing with plain water just to get rid of it.

Alright this is supposed to be my mother plant when she grows up, is this a cal-mag deficiency?
14458113394923690745
1445811409448590966039
Right now she is a pale green/turning yellow all over. I gave her a water using gh nutes and because she is in a larger container than what I should have put her in I just water a couple cups worth of water down her stem pretty much. Soil is dry around the edge of container and moist/ wet from where I fed..
Again, I'm thinking this is a cal-mag problem.. am I right?

mpy420 .....the plant looks over watered for sure although it sounds like u are being careful.....are u absolutely sure there are no pests on the underside of the leaves. That girl is definitely not absorbing moisture or mutes......a cal mag deficiency will definitely make the leaves yellow but that girl is not using anything u are giving her.Ris What did the root system.look like,?

She came out of an aerocloner I built, her roots were white, and about inches long. The soil I have is a .5-0-0 mix that I'm not to happy with. I got two others that I stead of putting them in a big one like that I put them into solo cups. The soil in the cups are super wet from watering after transplant, and they aren't drooping. When I transplanted this one, I didn't water all the way around because I didn't want to over water.
She looks hungry but overwatered so I feel like I'm at an impass here. I want to feed her but can't because she looks over watered... what to do, what to do.. @way2green

@Stumpy420

If you are saying the soil is wet, definitely let them dry.

Overwatering can get you root rot, and can kill your plant. Underfeeding will just slow your grow down a bit.

So I did pour in some nutes earlier but didn't even get the entire media wet. I want her to get some cal-mag because she looked like that was what she was needing... I will just leave her alone for a while. I feel like with this soil I'm only going to have to water her like once a month. I hate soil someone had told me it's just easier to maintain mothers in soil.
