Almost certain Black haze aka piff aka Frankie aka Miami haze aka blacks aka aka aka comes from original Dutch stock of a haze cross. Not straight haze but it grows and acts like a pure bred haze... A few heads have the real one. Most think they do but don't, just like numerous other locked down cuts, but maybe even more so, since it was borne out of the criminal aspect of growing... I've went through my thoughts on it a few times in the thread...

You know that actually makes a lot of sense. A NY friend of mine is running some D Haze from JJ, Chemdog D x Flying Dutchmen haze and he says there is a pheno in there that smells more like piff than any other haze he's run.

And I hear those old haze seeds from positronics and tom hill and the Dutch seedbanks were something like 3 in 100 seeds will have the blistering electric sativa high, and the other 97 are just pretty good

During the next year the seeds produced the four varieties. I was given a description by Sams of “fruity``, “sour``,“rootbeer``,“cola``,“chocolate`` and “hashy``. Later, a more accurate description of each variety was given. The first being Magenta, which those in the inner-circle knew as the “Rootbeer pheno``, and the rest of the world knew as “purple haze``. Then, there was the “Gold`` which was known to carry musky sandlewood and pine traits. In actuality it smelt like catpiss late in flower, and before a cure. “Blue`` and “silver`` were of the Spicy Sweet peppery type, and silver was considered strongest- all of them had a deep rich lingering after-taste. The four varieties of original haze (magenta, gold, silver, and blue) were never stable, and each year had slight variations. The leaf pattern was always the same, and the colors were not cold induced. The calyxes only showed color as the leaf were always bright green. An indicator of true haze lineage is the appearance of a red sap when you cut a true haze plant. This indicator particularly showed itself in the purple pheno. The best plants were always volunteers from the previous year’s seed droppings.

Bloody mine feild trying to trace stuff . But as in my earlier post the black haze considered piff or frankie seems to stem from NL5 x haze a or c, where the other black has a slightly diff background bc x gc xph . incorporating the orig purp haze . schools over and ive learnt heaps cheers all .

I recently popped some seeds I'll soon flower, Ft. Collins Cough x 95 Super silver haze- I plan to pollinate my NL5 cut for some nice 90's smelling cannabis.

I agree... it's basically rope in my opinion... I was quite upset when sold some R4... no good flavor, not a hint of a stone, just bland and useless... It does the overall community a disservice to breed rope back into the gene pool in search of a fad... thats just my opinion and I dont know shit.... whatever...

I spread the seeds around Cali etc and I brought the seeds with me to the Netherlands and used them to select clone parents for my unimproved Haze lines I preserved, I did not do much work to improve Haze I was trying to preserve it. The Thai and South Indiana Kerala x Original Haze crosses were made by my neighbor, R.L. The junior Original Haze grower that made the O Haze poster, as I did not grow much Haze until the next year. So anyway, it is now pretty hard to tell but what most have was pure Colombian, green, purple, lime green, silver, magenta, blueish, I saw all this before Haze had anything besides Colombian in it. A little bit has Thai, and even less has South Indian. I will be testing the DNA of my Haze lines and clones, then we will maybe have answers about what they is and isn't, and maybe where all the best Cannabis in Colombia, Jamaica, Mexico came from India, Africa or Asia, time will tell. I have found that my line is fairly inbred as it was not out-crossed except for the Thai and S Indian one year, and that was just a few plants. Most are just pure Original Haze Colombian, with no WLD Wide Leaf Drug (was called Indica) genes, zero. Because it is inbred if you do if you do outcross it the qualities are improved like vigor and potency. I have done this and seen where 16% THC Mom Skunk 1, X a 10% THC O Haze gives progeny in the 20's for THC%, try it, you will see what I mean. I found Purple Haze to be the strongest, but the silver-blue and lime-green ones where the high I preferred, purple Haze was more physical also. Up, clear, electric, speedy, cerebral mental, energetic, euphoric, psychedelic, no ceiling, every hit gets you higher every time, the kind of Cannabis that gets people turning white, passing out or falling over when they stand, and getting paranoid. Some of you may prefer the same, I can tell. I have never gotten too high, I have gotten to high to walk, that's what chaise lounge sofas, Lazy-Boys and the floor were invented for.

Ran a few ounces of sugar trim/trim I've had for the last 3 grows.Just trim(leaf),It was from green crack,big bud x nl,big bang,lemon cookies,mango kush,and pineapple kush.Oh,legacy too but not much.Still need to run a few more ounces but so far I'm happy with the returns.Especially because I'm out!The pics show a bit of foreign material but I got rid of it with some tweezers. Almost like work... :)

I'm no hash master but I will say that watching Bubbleman videos taught me one thing.A good spray bottle is needed with bags.

Lol!Tell ya what,not even the 160 micron bag left green material.I am so happy with the way it's turning out.I've just been adding to the box the last 3 years.I got a guy that likes it in his pipe but I just have too much.Outa smoke and had bags...presto! Loving it!The legacy from Mdogg,yes,that was some good shit too.That girl is gone... The Lemon Cookie is from Golden Lion Genetics.As far as I know I'm the only one who's running it as it's not available anymore.Well,right now. :)

Well guys and girls, I'm in my 9th week and started my flush yesterday. If she hasn't filled in or gained any weight this week I will probably be chopping down on Friday night or Saturday night.
It seems as though her sativa-like stretch doesn't mean she has a sativa-length flowering period. If I find that the buds aren't as good as what I took off last tuesday, then I've gone too long. 8 1/2 -9 weeks isn't bad at all, and I got 3 monster cropped clones ready to roll.
I will let you all know this weekend how everything is looking! Peace and good growings, guys!
