Can Anyone Tell Me If This Is Normal?

It is indeed soil. I will definitely check out the Charts when I wrap up in the office.

I just want to say that I am open to doing something other than what the CloneGuys have instructed. I spent a ton of cash on these and I figured since he was the breeder, he would know best...although I did have my own doubts based on what I have shared thus far, hence the reason I joined. The plant looks limp and this guy is just telling me to let it be and just water every so often with Cal/Mag (I bought Botanicare and have run 4ML per CG's direction), well that just didn't add up.

Cyco Platinum Series nutes have arrived today. I am not dismissing your recommended nutes but I am wondering if I can use what I just spent money on to help correct the issue. I would love to repot these bad boys BUT what is the correct protocol? Deal with the ugliness and try to correct it before adding the risk of transplant shock or transplant ever so gently and slowly start adding nutes?

I have Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and Fox Farm potting soil (a lighter nutrient mix according to the hydro shop). I also have CYCO Coco Coir which is for some seedlings I was gonna run hydro after I get this first group up and running in flower. If I transplant to one of these soils should I hold off on nutes to see what happens?
How much you spend?

I consider that root bound. Once the roots start circling it's because they have nowhere else to go. You can easily transplant at that point.

Hey All,

Plants are progressing. The dream still looks great to me. It is really getting a nice deep green back. The Sour D is also getting its green back and it's looking a little better after about 36 hours of being fed and repotted. I feel as though I am on the right track. First pic is SD and then the Dream.

Actually, both pics are the SD. Not sure what happened.

Hard to tell from the images, but in my opinion you might do well to either remove those from the pots and add more soil or use smaller pots. Having so much of the existing plant canopy surrounded by the walls of the pot doesn't help for micro climate around the immediate canopy.

he just repotted....they look fine
the twisting is a ph issue in my opinion
looking much better.....just remember...let them dry before watering again....better roots better fruits.....when the media dries the roots go searching.....for soil I usually dont water until the plant starts to slightly droop and the pot become very light

Wisher, I am soaking in others advice but only following your plan of attack. I really do appreciate others input but following too many trains of thought will have my head spinning.

My plants are looking much better today. More pics coming Friday.

On another note, birds of paradise, and Caribbean Peppers are getting buried and my 9 various strains of cannabis that have germinated went into coco and got a light feeding this morning. So excited. More plants to talk to. Lmao.

Grow grow grow everyone.

I understand that he just up potted, however to me it seems like he put a little bit of soil in the bottom of a fairly large pot and then put the plant down inside the pot.

I think its the angle of the pics. The bottom leaves are only slightly below the pot walls. Thanks everyone for commenting. I am learning and I will be more aware of the height of the canopy in relation to the tops of the pots. These things seem to be growing in front of my eyes so I am not going to do anything until the next watering which I anticipate to be Friday but I'll wait for the plants to tell me they are thirsty, aka the leaves start to fall.

???? what do you mean by soaking??

When you water you should soak.....
then you wait until the media dries and the pot becomes light....just to the point before the plant becomes stressed...wet and dry cycles are what drive roots and allow oxygen into the rhizosphere....
Never ever allow you soil to be soaked..as in sitting there wet....you dont want a constant damp media....if we were talking coco then that is a differ story but not when it comes to potting soil....completely differ

happy growing

ps....
growing in 2 differ media might be difficult if you are newer to this
Coco is a completely differ animal
a completely differ train of thought
you will literally be growing bipolar
I have been doing it for years and still forget sometimes.....my coco needs water and nutes every day....2-3 times a day
my soil needs watering 2 times a week....with nutes once a week
my outdoor in ground only need dry nutes and water once a week
it becomes extremely multi task oriented

Oh yeah, I thought about it last night before deciding to run two different mediums. I new allot of planning, labeling and scheduling would be required but I am confident in my ability. Its scares me the most that after I mix my nutes I am usually about to start watering and at the last second remember I need to PH the nutes. LMAO. I'll get used to it.

Hey guys I am starting to get some yellowing, maybe burning on my leaves from what it looks like. I'm wondering if somebody can confirm what this is.
