It's been years since I posted up on the farm, so I thought it'd be nice to throw up a grow journal for @Nspecta. I popped a whole pack of the Violet Flame and got 3 out of 7 to sprout. I'm almost positive this was MY error, I think it got too cold. All 7 popped tails, but 4 never went past that. So, like I said, my error.

Anyways, I have these 3 in 5 gallon fabric pots filled with Roots 707. They share an 8 bulb 4ft t5 with the rest of my veg closet, as shown. They're doing absolutely perfect so far.

Here we go, let me know what you guys think.

Lookin good! I'm flipping some violet flames to 12/12 tomorrow. They're some pretty plants so far. I'll definitely be watching along to see your progress!!

Thanks, one can learn a lot from pictures's - debating over 5 - 7 or 10 gallon pots , believe 7 gallon might be the best

Have been using 10 gallon - can not believe the yields fill 4 mason jars (quart) using 5 gallon gives about 2 jars. Ever think of planting an "auto" when starting a grow ? This way you will have a harvest in the e middle of you grow

I cycle my hydro tables so I don't really run out of personal for my wife. Personally I don't get to enjoy, as I have random UA's, but no need for autos. The table you see in the "Group" pic is a cross from a buddy of mine that I run along with the mother plants of a different strain also in the pic. The table should go into flower in about 5 weeks, and the VF's will go in around that same time.

Yea these randoms suck. The worst part, for me, is when I crossed a strain. I got it to f3 and never got to try it. Hopefully they'll legalize so I can smoke again or I win the lotto. haha

Here they are, a week later. I pulled them out of the closet to give a better look at their structure. They're in the same order as the other pics. Number 1 is furthest away and number 3 is closest. Number 3 is still my favorite, but 1 has developed a candy smell that's going to be nice if it keeps.

Haven't decided yet, but I want to. I just don't want them to get too big as they will have to share space.

just use LST method with some "defoliation " thru grow. Healthy looking plants !!!

Yea, I've already thought about plucking some of those huge fan leaves to get light inside. LST will be a must. I'll be happy if I pull 8 oz total.

With defoliation many do a "heavy "defoilation in week 4 of veg and 4 th week in flower - Alwayd remove fan leaves that block light
