The Olympics have become a touchy subject for me. I really do love the competition and have the utmost respect for the athletes but it's the corruption of the IOC that has me wanting to boycott the Olympics. The IOC really are a very corrupt group of folks ripping off everybody from the residents of the host country to the builders who raise the coliseums and villages right down to the athletes themselves. Billions of dollars being made and the athletes get nothing ? Who are the stars that make the Olympics, the IOC or the athletes? There's to much to tell about what the IOC is doing but do some research and it'll open your eyes wide. Allowing the games to go on when they know Rio is ground zero for the zika virus ? Bringing 212 countries from around the globe to a place w/ zika flying mosquitoes? GREAT idea !!! I think the IOC is in bed w/ the pharm. co. that has the cure. I know, I sound like a paranoid conspiracy theorist but in today's world, is it really that much of a stretch ? Anyways, do some research and make your own judgments.
