I use these in my DWC set up and they deliver a ton of diffused oxygen they work great and clean up easy. Never tried them in soil or soil less set up.

I actually still run a couple DWC systems but also run the coco and the coco is just way easier once you dial it in and understand it. Feed the coco....

Keep your res cool and you'll be ok. The smell is usually bad bacteria called pythium or however you spell it. If your not running organic nutes or bennies (good bacteria) then you can run a little h2o2 in your res to kill bacteria

What temp is your res water? You want to keep the res cool like at a nice 68°f. Constantly
