Im just concerned 500gph not overkill for one bucket? No water overflow will happen? Or the extra o2 just increases the rate of reaction and thus decreases the wait time till it's ready?

I am trying to find cheaper sources of silica, can i use food grade diatomaceous earth in my teas? The chemical composition of d.e. is 90% silica and is amorphus, not cyrstalline. The d.e. I am interested in is in powdered form.
