It took me 15 years, and a ton of convincing to grab that cut. I am doing round two on some offspring. Once I am happy with the results, you are on the list. (remind me, I am a stoner)

Give me another year or so.

I think I have a second or third apology to give in this thread.

Toaster, did I miss judge everything you said in this thread? I get confused who is who, and I think I just figured out who you are. I follow you on IG also right? I hope I read you wrong and the first post was full of sarcasm, and then I came off like a dick. Sorry bro. I am just on guard here big time. Sorry I took it out on you.

Hope we can still be cool.

Hello bulldog11. It's been awhile now so for you to pop up rehashing a old argument says you really took it all to heart so I apologize.
Is prevegging some sort of cure all that guarantees more yield --NO--
If a person preveggs and properly trains they're plants, uses let's say a 200 gallons of great medium etc etc can they increase they're yield? -yes-
A 14 foot plant looks great but I honestly hate plants that contains 50% crappie flarf bud..when you let them grow wild you don't get as nice a finish product as consistently as a plant with 95% top buds..
To each his or her own though bulldog and am sorry to witness these little chit chats weigh heavy on you bro no hard feelings you are a great grower and your threads prove that.:) later and happy harvest.
The plant in the pic is almost 7 foot wide with at least 300 bud sites. It's less than 5 foot tall it'll stretch out when flowering to aprox 10/11 foot wide and maybe 7 feet tall.just finished topping again so probably finish with a proxy 5/600 bud sites.
I've grown 14 foot monsters without a prevegging as have you dudes.personally I prefer a prevegging due to me being able to keep the plant as shirt as possible.
And I prefer as many top buds as I can get.not downing anyone especially not you dudes bulldog.

This pic is a example of a prevegged/scrog trained plant.
I thank the dudes on here who agreed with me. I can't now like I couldn't then understand the argument.
Weather you can afford water bills electric etc etc is a moot point.the question is --can/does prevegging increase yield?---
If practiced by a skilled grower yes.
Bulldog I hope you do the experiment you mentioned.you will see bro.
Seems there's confusion hopefully can clear up bulldog.you are right and a healthy vigorous plant can and will grow into a beast and Even outpace a inferior strain/grower that prevegged..
In supposing a prevegged plant cannot stay/be kept vigorous is the flaw to that philosophy.
A prevegged, well grown, well trained plant can and will out yield one that's not.
It's simple mathematics really the more budsites you have the more bud you have in a controlled experiment with same strain grown identically with only difference being one prevegged and trained and other not.

Small plant rojo, looking for large plants.

You were saying you could produce huge plants all day long started early. Where is the proof brother?

I re hash these threads because they were never settled. Just back and forth bickering. What I have brought here in this thread is proof of large plants. You said you could prove even bigger plants started earlier. Well, talk is cheap. Lets see the proof. Or not, and I will continue to believe people like you are all talk. Prove me wrong.

Also, why the need to lie about the picture you posted......7' wide and 300 bud sites. What a joke. The plant I posted is 30 ft in circumference and 12' tall, lol. Also, what the heck is pre-veg?

You didn't think I would take it personal? Quotes from Rojo

"Yes you are a great grower but no you are not some kind of something special."

"My physio analysis of you is [email protected] determinations of people's skill set, standards of living, and mind frames based solely on a few vague statements from them indicate a low level of intellectual intuition, sub par educational background, imbred cultural heritage, and definitely a inferiority complex to just name a few."

"You learn a script wrote by others, memorise it then proceed to transform into your "cave man's club" which is then used to in your mind "beat" your "greatness" into everyone who you do not idolize."

"Your need to show your best when acting your worse would definitely be linked to you feeling inferior.Usually, since I'm guessing your older than 40 your main influence which makes you lash out at others is your wife's teleconnetic signals your brain procieves as she deems you inferior."

"Your thinking your wife is unimpressed with your manlyhood is what without you knowing it one of your core drives to from day to day win different scenarios."

"Your portraying yourself as a educated, clever, manly man when in fact your words to a physiologist tells him your a uneducated, script reading, mean little boy who most likely wears lady under garments when you feel threatened which is Textbook behavior for a self loathing fella such as yourself."

"Pm me your real name and I'll ask uncle kemp if he knows you. From your script reading idolizing manorisms I'd almost be willing to bet if he's heard of you he probably would say your a border line stalker and possible peeping tom.
Get some help@bs11 I see right threw you and like your wife am very very unimpressed."

So many TOU violations.
You are a commercial douche bag. After all that shit talk, you can't produce a large plant.

Your plants are gorgeous no doubt..but with the 50-70 mph wind gusts up here would be toppled.
They were just topped.when a marijuana plant flowers it stretches and in doing so that's when all the topping shows.
A tall plant is what your going for then cool your doing great.
I grow for biggest canopy possible.
The seasons not done homie.a 11 foot canopy stuffed is small?
Your a good/great grower bulldog I just thank god we are anonymous on here lol no offense but you seem like the type to let a friendly chat turn to you creeping in the shadows lol

So let's do some math...
30 foot circumference gives you 72 sq. ft.
What is the yield, and how much time did it take?... Let's see if an indoor grow can beat that, given the time constraints and the yield numbers.

That is just the circumference. You would also have to add the 12' tall walls. The sun hits every inch of that plant.

Now take into electrical costs. And we are getting even further from the point of this thread. But good comment none the less @ken dog

I have a friend who has approximately, an 8 foot x 9 foot grow... About the same square feet... And 12 pounds was pulled in 90 days.

Regarding height... I do not think that height needs to enter into the discussion... I think we are better off comparing area to area, time to time, and yield to yield.

I would think the surface area of the canopy would be around 312 sq ft IMO
