Here's My set up. I've had 100% success three rounds in a row now. Maybe it the music a play for them 🤔

That a humidifier blowing up into the lowes miniature tent, also that's a baseboard heater underneath keeping things nice and cozy!

I dig it 🤩

I’m super new I just soak the seed for no more than 12 hours in some tap water and then I put it in the dirt. Pretty
good success rate. Peace out. ✌️

I’ve rooted 1000’s of clones in promix, works great. 1 downfall is keeping the soil always moist for a week to 2 weeks invites fungus gnats.
Nice work!
I was having pretty good success just sticking cuts in saturated promix and putting them in a dome 75%......I thought I needed a cloner so I built a bubbler and it worked I got about 50% of my cuts to live.........Fk 50% I now take my cuts clean the bottoms up properly then a drop of Clonex on the cuts a drop in the pre made hole and in a dome.....I'm 100% since tossing the bubbler and adding Clonex,,,,,,,sometimes less is more...

A sprinkle of diatomaceous earth eliminates/prevents most critters in my garden, that and a hand full of carnivores plants in the tent does wounders.

I just stick cuts into a glass of water for a few hours after I do some trimming, then I just put them in a solo cup with dirt. Did it 5 times with 4 successful clones. The one that didn’t make it, looking back, I believe I tossed it way too soon without giving her a chance.

I’m cheap and don’t believe the hype of needing all of these things to clone. Just dirt and water and a cutting.

BE CAREFUL. DO YOUR RESEARCH ON CARNIVOROUS PLANTS AND MARIJUANA PLANTS GROWN TOGETHER. I HAD SOME VENUS-FLYTRAPS THAT I BOUGHT MY GIRL AND AT THE TIME WAS YGROWING IN MY CLOSET, IT WAS WINTER TIME WHERE IM FROM IT GETS DOWN TO 30°F SOME NIGHTS LOWER, AND WONT RISE ABOVE 55° FOR MONTHS. SO I PUT THE CARNIVOROUS PLANT IN CLOSET THREW SOME PIX UP AND WAS BLASTED ON HAVING DONE SO WHILE GROWING REG SEEDS(NON FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIODS OR NON FEMINIZED AUTO-FLOWER) AND RISK HAVING MY POSSIBLY FEMALE FLOWERS HERMIE

No offense but thats just sounds ridiculous to me. I don't see how having a Venus fly trap (or any other plant for that matter) in your tent could possibly cause your canabis to hermie.

How long for roots to form for everyone?

I get like 10-20% survival in any kind of media (rapid rooters, jiffy pucks, perlite, coco, coco/perlite, promix, MG potting soil) but I can hit 90-100% in a dyi dwc cloner. After such dismal failure in everything else, I'm happy with my dwc success rate but it takes about 2 weeks for roots to show, sometimes 3.

10 days - 2 weeks...if they haven't sprouted roots by then something went wrong

I was a little confused last night when I responded 🤩

I’ve only made a few attempts. But I have been successful.

I watched a video where a guy cut the limb off the plant with a sterile, cutting tool. Being careful not to crush the plant material.

Then he put it in a glass of water, so that air didn’t get into it. Then he cut this about a half inch slit up the middle and scraped the sides of the cut it end.

Then he dipped it in cloning gel, and then cloning, Powder. I just put it straight in the dirt, here’s a pic of the best one I’ve done and what I use. That gel and powder together were less than 20 bucks.

There’s also a pic of a clone attempt that somehow hasn’t died, but she doesn’t look too good. Lol.

Edit to add I don’t know if it was the video or somewhere else. It said that ANY cloning gel or powder will work with some working better with either Powder or gel that’s why used both.

Clonex seems to cost considerably more than gel/solution from other brands. Is it really that much better? Doesnt it just come down to the concentration of rooting hormones?

Same here, I'm using rooting harmone from lowes and and rooting into a pre made mixture of organic potting soil and Dr Earth dry amendments. Mixed up and watered thoroughly 1 week before rooting clones. I keep them at 80/80 humidity and temp and typicaly at 10 days roots are shooting out the bottom of the pot with nice new growth. With the nutrients from the dry amendments kicking in about the same time roots are developing I'm able to keep the clones in the small pots they were rooted in until I'm ready to do something with them without feeding nutes.
