3 more to go. Which one is next? Hmmm, decisions.

Will it be Jerriatric #1:

Or Jerriatric #2:

Perhaps the Mamboe:

They all look like they are at least a week or two out. Mamboe smells the best, maybe the winner this year. We shall see.

Your plants are looking great! I bet the greenhouse has some awesome smells going!:) How long can you keep them going with cooler weather coming?

Thank you. The Mamboe smells really pungent, sweet and funky. The two Jerriatrics aren't putting out much smell, but when I pull a bud apart you get a good wiff. With the heater I have now I can keep it about 15 degrees warmer in there than the outside temps at night. If I took the extra effort and sealed the ends of my greenhouse panels the R-value would go up even more, the panels are Solexx, they are doubled walled so they have a hollow core. If you trap the air in the panels by sealing the cut ends you get a lot more r-value. I've kept plants going until Nov 1 before with 15 degree temps outside, but this year it doesn't look like I'll have to do that!

Just checked the extended forcast also. Looks about as good as you could wish for for finishing out the season. The next two days are pretty cold, highs near 60 and lows near 35. But by Friday and for 10 days after that its highs back in the 70s and lows in the mid 40s, perfect! That means in the greenhouse it will be in the mid 70s for highs and around 60 at night....yes.

Congrats, looks like we can have the time to finish this year. We have a pretty promising 15 day forecast in NorCal sierras also.
It's been fun watching your grow, thanks for sharing.

Two girls still going strong in the greenhouse. It's in the high 30s outside right now and drizzling, its warm and dry in the greenhouse. Good thing too, back in the 70s with sun tomorrow. I chopped the mamboe on Sunday, its hanging and the Stateline is in jars already. It dried way too fast, it was in the 80s and dry here after I chopped. Makes me question early finishing strains now, which earlier I thought I wanted. I should have let it go another two weeks anyways. Always learning.

The two Jerriatrics will get chopped this weekend most likely.

Mountain bike crash on Thursday night. Slow climbing up a trail to do a loop at the top of this mountain with excellent views of the front range, Long's Peak and all. Stuck my front tire going like 1-2 mph, fell off the bike and all my body weight went down on my right knee, which happened to smash into a pointy rock. It pierced a deep hole and smashed my cap, hurt like hell. Went to the ER and needed 4 stitches. No problem with that, but this bruised knee cap has been painful. Doc is saying 5-6 weeks for the pain to go away if lucky. Just harvested my finest crop yet...that should keep my occupied. I hate sitting around though.

Pics of the finished buds coming soon.

I just bought a full suspension fat bike.
This is going to hurt.

Get well.

Hell yeah! That will be fun. Not sure where you reside, but hit me up if you want info on packed snow trails on CO front range. I have lots of friends that keep the trail's snow packed in nice for the fatties through the winter.

Glad you are OK!:)
Thanks Orca. Still limping around but getting more movement in my leg now. Bruised bones, bahh. I'm really sorry to hear about your father. Best wishes. Your plants look amazing, and winning another contest...sheeet.

Hi all. Its been a nice week, no more trimming and just burping jars and enjoying the new harvest. The knee is feeling better and I can walk up and down stairs easily agian, feeling better mentaly because of this as well...can't stand being too idle. Went to the Widespread Panic Halloween show, it was great. I haven't seen them in years, the last time I was kind of disapointed about 6 years ago at the Mile High Music Fest, but this go around was damn good.

Smoke report:
I highly recommend 14er's genetics if you are in the CO front range area. I'm very happy with the results and will continue using them in the future.

Stateline: I harvested a bit too early and it was hot and dry during the dry. So a little harsher than I would like, but you can def taste the Tahoe OG and Chemdog's Sister both. The high is uplifting then I'm out.

Mamboe: The stinkiest for sure. A winner if you like stinky buds. The taste is great also, pretty unique pungent sweet almost candy flavor. The smoke is thick right now, should be easier to smoke in a nother week or two I imagine. Its a heavy high, puts me in spacy land.

The Jerriatrics: #2 is the winner out if the two. She tastes amazing, a hint of the mamboe and headband. Nice purple hughes and the smoke is amazingly smooth. You can rip huge hits and not cough, love it. This smoke doesn't knock me out as much as the others, but is still euphoric enough to stone me out pleny.

The jerriatic #2 is my favorite I believe, the Mamboe is a very close 2nd and may end up the winner after the cure. All seem to be high thc, based off of feel and the length of time I'm stoned after smoking. Wish I could legally get it tested in CO.

Thanks for reading! Until next year, unless I have some random stuff to say.

Been a year almost. This season is coming along, a few weeks to go for most. Just a few thrips here and there late in flower, no biggy. Cold, wet and cloudy fall..but still chugging away. 8” snow yesterday, lows in mid 20s...by Thursday we’ll be back in the 70s. Hoping for lots of sun to help finish them off.

I was just trying to convince a fellow farmer that these plants can handle some cold without damage.
Freezing point suppression is strong in the marijuana line.
Looking nice nice nice.

Thanks. To clear up my earlier comment on the temps, that was outside temp. I have them in a greenhouse with a few electric space heaters. With one heater I can keep it about 10-15 degs warmer than outside temp, at night. So when it is in the 20s I’m running two heaters to make sure it is up in the 40s at least, at night. I just don’t want to risk it.
