Can I Use the Same Spot Outdoors As Last Year?

While I have ample surface space to plant outside, only a few places get full sunlight all day long. Is there any reason I can't use the same spot (or adjacent) as last year? Other than the hole the plant is placed in, there will be no new soil used. I know the ground soil might be depleted of nutrients but I plan on fertigating throughout the grow so that shouldn't be an issue, right?

No issue as long as you replenish nutrients, people use same fields/flowerbeds every year. Would mix some in top soil prior to planting
