Farmers food thread

Not sure if there is already a food thread here, if so I couldn't find it. This stoner likes to cook!

Fired up the smoker yesterday and whipped up some southern soul food. Oxtails smoked for 2 hrs, then braised for another 2 hrs. Wifey was in charge of the cornbread and taters. Yum!!

Smoking oxtails and pairing them with homemade cornbread and taters? That's some serious soul food magic right there.

I havent smoked a good meal since having my teeth ripped out last month.. wifey made some homemade sauce and meatballs yesterday tho, 1st real food I've had in forever!

On occasion I pull out my press

Wife can't have the carbs so she wraps hers in lettuce and I'll be damned to pay $5+ for 8 buns to use 1 or maybe 2 when I can make them myself w/o the preservatives

We cheated on the fries (store bought) but we do make our own, gota air and old oil frier. Only use the air these days.

Meat/soup setting on the pressure cooker (instaPot). No idea the temp but I do see tacos I'm our future
