Infused caramels

I was going to try and make infused caramels. I have the cana butter already and some caramels. My question is has anyone tried melting pre made caramel and mixed cana butter in? Will it set up properly? Trying to see if this can be a quick easy way to make them. Or should I used coconut oil which I also have already infused.
