Can't wait to give this a taste. I feel fortunate I snagged a couple packs of these while they were so graciously offered as 1/2 pricers. MUCH RESPECT to both logic and CONNI for makin that happen.

Popped one Purple Cheddar just to take a look. Not gonna be a huge yielder but WOW... sure looks nice! Gonna stock up on more GDP fem crosses once I can print a few more bills :rolleyes::D

I was fortunate to be gifted a mother cut of this from one of our patient founders. He offered it after, during a meeting, the group had smoked several joints (there were 6 being passed around a group of a dozen people at one point), and I had to remark on this one particular joint. I immediately got a huge hit of Concord grape, and the only other time I've tasted it that strongly was from a pheno of Mendo Purps x Grape Krush I had been gifted two or three years ago (lost it to root aphids). So, I asked who rolled the joint and what it was and she said, "Oh yeah! That's Purple Cheddar" and I thought, "Hmmm... haven't I heard of this? nice, no Cheese taste."

Considering my sniffer problems (I'm the one who got bitten by the rattlesnake some years ago, lost a good bit of my sense of smell), it's always remarkable when I pick up on something being smoked that strongly. I don't like the flavor of Concord grape, but it does smell good.

Have you done her up outside, sky? And, have you tried doing it purely organically? I'll be running some of this outside, using soil food web methods, along with some seeds I put to paper towels yesterday.

These were 90% organic. They got one light dose of KoolBloom powder @ 5 weeks. Other than that....guano/kelp/sea green/aminos/bennies.

Someday I'm gonna have a nice spread to do em up outside, sea. For now....there are too many errant lights and too many eyes. The short season would also play into these.... but it could be done.

Gonna wager there are tastier phenos to be had than the one I found...but for popping ONE seed.... um yeah.... pretty nice stuff. Have maybe a pack left for the future. (gave a few away to lucky med peeps startin new gardens...:D )

I can tell you that it's very resistant to spider mites! Purples up even when it's being run in a hot room, and makes nice, thick, solid nuggies. Keep your eye (nose) open for the super-grapey pheno.
