I live in Canada , and it has been unusually cold this year . I am planning on ordering seeds for my first time , will the cold affect them while they are being mailed?

cold can only keep seeds fresh (seeds are well stored in the fridge) , but if they freeze they can get damaged by transportation (vibration) plus they need to be used (no freezing again)
