I’m using a 4’ 8 light power veg light. Each 4’ light is 24watts. So 24x8=192/120volts = 1.6 amps.
Easily handled by a 15 amp household outlet with a timer I think.

I plan on upgrading for flowering to a

The specs say the amps are 1.8 . So if I use it on the same 15 am the electric cost should be only slightly more.
I’m in an open well ventilated room so in shouldn’t need much of a fan.

I’ve grown inside and out for years, took a break during flu. Looking forward to a simple auto flower grow using a mix of natural and artificial light without all the complexity of a photoperiod grow.

Just checking my thinking in case it’s rusty. All comments will be appreciated.

I like to use watts. 15 amps is 1,800 watts and that 1.8 amps is about 200 watts. So, there's plenty of capacity on that circuit.
