Yeah I agree but this one is broke funny , I kinda tried that just made it worse , is a weired plant was a bag seed from some thca flower I bought at dispensary, been potted in crap soil for over a month now, haven't really paid much attention to it , was a plant see if it grows kinda thing and is super tiny , grew from the get go with a Y shaped top, two stalks like pre topped already. Split right at the center y so not really much of a bottom stalk to wrap with tape. Hoping for the best .Pull it back together and secure it with some tape or something. Then support the branch if possible. I don’t know if I would want wet in the opening of the break like that. I just saw a post on someone repairing a split stalk(maybe it was a branch?) they were using plastic wrap!
Before breakWell what can I say! This guy was doing great , sat out in the sun to dry out , to transplant , because I was able to get more good dirt finally! And in that journey , went to let out the dog and forgot I put it in the sun and dog ran it overpaw on plant !!
split her right down the middle yesterday morning!
I put some wet cotton on the split thinking hell maybe if I keep it wet , I'm not a plant surgeon at all, bandaid the hell out of it for a day and cross fingers , treating it like a clone now in my mind!
So this is now today , one leaf died , maybe she will make it !
ill leave you alone after this I promise lol!Yeah I agree but this one is broke funny , I kinda tried that just made it worse , is a weired plant was a bag seed from some thca flower I bought at dispensary, been potted in crap soil for over a month now, haven't really paid much attention to it , was a plant see if it grows kinda thing and is super tiny , grew from the get go with a Y shaped top, two stalks like pre topped already. I actually thought maybe to bury it ? Like up pot it add some top dirt , nip off bottom leaves and bury the break?Pull it back together and secure it with some tape or something. Then support the branch if possible. I don’t know if I would want wet in the opening of the break like that. I just saw a post on someone repairing a split stalk(maybe it was a branch?) they were using plastic wrap!
Definitely worth saving! Thats could be a nice chunk of bud when it’s finished! : )Before break
I dont have any experience with that, I personally wouldn’t do that though. I dont have any hard evidence to back why I wouldn’t do it though lol. If you aren’t concerned about the outcome of the plant this is a great opportunity to test your theory! SCIENCE! lol! : )I actually thought maybe to bury it ? Like up pot it add some top dirt , nip off bottom leaves and bury the break?
That was terrifying to do !!ill leave you alone after this I promise lol!
I was going to suggest that but I personally havent dont that! When you cinch that tie down are you watching the stock for growth? Or will it just grow over the zip tie? Do you cut and replace with a proper fitting zip tie?Looks pretty damn good to me! Although I think zip ties would make it tighter! Clamp that puppy together! L O L! Looks good!
Way to go!!! its much better but im with chuck on this one as far as making it as tightly closed together : )That was terrifying to do !!Fingers crossed thank you so much !!
I was worried about having the right skills to remove the zip tie laterI was going to suggest that but I personally havent dont that! When you cinch that tie down are you watching the stock for growth? Or will it just grow over the zip tie? Do you cut and replace with a proper fitting zip tie?
Like anything else, you just keep an eye on it and trust your gut! They heal up pretty fastI was going to suggest that but I personally havent dont that!
