Top Or Underside Tricomes To Indicate Harvest?

iv scoped my tricomes and looked at both sides of the little snippet I took. ones on top look further along than ones on the underside.... Which is the more accurate of the two?

When the overall majority has swollen and turned color. Either milky white or amber. Depends on the effect you would like. White for speedy sativa like highs or amber triches for more of a couch lock indica body stone. Best of luck to you.
