New growth leaf curl. I'm using mills nutes for the first time. And I'm adding cal-mag because I'm growing in coco also for the first time. ppm is 350-400 fed once or twice per day. pH was 6.0 the first week and 5.8 for the last couple days. I've been using this method for 10 days now. I transplanted her from dirt after I gently washed the root ball. I have a plant still in dirt receiving the same nutes. Fed, watered, fed so far since i switched nutes. She's showing the same signs but not as bad. Thanks in advance for any help!

Maybe Check the runoff ppm and make sure the coco is not hot.
Probably they are still stressed from going to Hydro from Soil. When I was a brand new to growing I killed a plant like that trying to go from soil to a dwc:opps:

Good idea. I will do that today. I'm just learning the need to preflush coco. My plants that are still in soil are showing the same signs although not as bad. I'm thinking it must have something to do with my nutes. I just switched to a new line also and I'm trying to figure it out.

Thats cool My 1st run in Coco was way hot and I didn't rinse it properly. It haunted Me the whole grow.
So I figured I would give it another shot prepping the Coco Properly. I rinsed the it really thoroughly and also added 1 tsp a gallon Calmag to the Water I hydrated the Brick in.
Which line did You switch to?

I haven't used those Nutes, I run the GH 3 part and Calimagic. That sounds right. My runoff is usually slightly lower then what I water with.

Quit overdoing it with the newts and fix your watering schedule that is the problem.

Thanks for the reply. I can definitely adjust my nutes. Do you have any suggestions for a watering schedule?

It really depends on exactly what is in your soil how it drains the temperature outside how long it takes for it to dry out excetera you know. But if I had to take a wild guess by looking at your picture I would say your over-watering just a little bit and your temperatures are a little high

Cutting back on the nutrients would help it'll be fine you're not budding besides you need to always practice some restraint with those newts

Go ahead and keep giving it the same amount of nitrogen just cut back on everything else

Thanks for your feedback. I'm growing in coco and perlite. I was taught to keep it watered. It never dries out. My temp is 76. I know it looks like heat stress.

I just switched to a new brand and I'm using their lowest feed schedule. It's for 2 weeks old plants. Lol My tds average is 375 ppm. I was actually thinking about upping it to 450 ppm and see if it got better or worse. Hmmm. Decisions!

Those plants look pretty good I can clearly see you know what you're doing. Quite possibly it's the newts

Thanks. I'm always learning. Or at least trying to. I will get to the bottom of it sooner or later. Thanks for your suggestions

No problem. Sometimes you can have a problem where your temperatures will soar when you are unaware of it I'm assuming that you have a thermometer that keeps track of that for you?
