I'll second AC Infinity, awesome company!

I will also recommend the Spider Farmer SE series lights. I run the SE4500, which I love, and they sell a SE5000 that would work well in your tent. I've heard good things about the Spider Farmer G series lights also, they are a little cheaper and have Bridgelux diodes instead of Samsung like the SE series. G5000 for a 3x3

No matter what brand you go with, make sure to look at both the veg and flower spec and see if it will flower a 3x3 before you purchase.

HLG, (Horticultural Lighting Group) great quality, US made, best customer service around. A 400watt will be perfect. It’s a little more power than you need, but you won’t have to run it at 100% all the time.

Best is subjective. Most all the brands will give you more or less the same performance along with more or less the same spectrum.

I don't use any of the brand name brands as I've been using a brand that has great price to performance specs for many, many years now. I have no idea why they aren't more well known but that's ok. Keeps prices reasonable.

When I go back and pick up my 5 x 5 now that I know I'll be staying in the new place I'm at, I'm going to pickup a 650w bar style light from them for $300.

go with one of the most used and rather cheap led brand like

spiderfarmer, viparspectra, hlg, ac infinity, vivosun, hlg, phlizon, mars hydro

all brand will have their tweak regarding the spectrum, led layout and whatever , and all brand will claim their tweak are the best but truth is when it come to comparing the end result with light with equivalent power, you won't see much difference in term of yield.

for a 3x3 tent you want 300W to 500W leds. for exemple spiderfarmer SF4000 (480W), SE3000 & G3000 (300W), SE5000 & G5000 (480W),

model with more watt for a said area will offer a more even light coverage and light dispersion near tent border, but you may not use them 100% close to the plants

HLG all the way for me,, been buying my QB's from them for years, so far I have assembled 24 2V288 Rspec boards @ 160 watts per board .
I run all my Power suppliers ( Meanwell) on the out side of my tents.
I just finished a 640 watt light . and have about 50% of the parts needed to do another one.
Rule of thumb is 30 watts of quality LED lighting per square foot of grow space .
Example is a 4x8 tent= 32 square feet Times 30 watts ] 960 watts .
HLG has videos on how to assemble the lights .
If not I can walk you though it.
I have allot pics of my lights , but most are with other lighting i have assembled.
HLG boards that I am using is the Samsung LM301B boards (white lighting ) UNLESS your buying the R spec boards which have a strip of red diodes .
The red lights I made are 5 channel Cree COB programable Led lighting .. they are in the photo I am not suggesting to buy them or make them .. too expensive and they use more electricity . All MY PLANTS grow toward the HLG lights over any other lighting I have in there.
All grow lighting If they are worth a shit uses COB technology ,, But cheap lighting companies push the fact they use COB LED's ... don't get fooled. Buy quality . in the long run you will save money by buying quality
good luck

I have a 3x3x8 foot tall grow tent. I would like the best led grow light I can get. Any suggestions? THANKS
Ask 1,000 growers get 1,000 answers. None particularly wrong but roundabout in a 3x3 small home grow…

I pretty much agree with all @HerbalEdu said, good overall advice search those names and keyword 3x3 and look at the specs yourself look at reviews see what others say etc before you make a choice

Most 3k (300w) lamps will do fine.
Full spectrum
Adjustable output
Detachable driver

Only main difference these days is lamp construction.
the spectrums vary slightly from lamp to lamp.
Nothing you can’t dial in though.

The right lighting is one of the most important decisions you have to make on growing top notch weed .
This not the time to make a very expensive mistake on buying POS lighting .
I haven't checked everyone's replies but most seemed to begiving great advise
But buy lighting that Is known for being good/great grow lighting.
Efficiency should be around 2.7 Umols <This is important ..
Post the lighting you PLAN on buying be fore you buy ..
Try to get the power supplier where it is on the outside of the grow tent/room

Ingest thing you want is Samsung lm301diodes. Either the b or h. Second to have a dimmer or driver. I like the acinfinity because it works with there controller puts everything on one interface.

That spider farmer sf4000 is worth the money it’s putting in incredible work in my 4x4 and it’s really slightly to small for it. Still performing great
