First time growing outdoor organics

I’m in ohio and want to grow organic in a greenhouse next year. I am going to use an auger to drill a 2’ wide by 4’ deep holes and refill the holes with my mix of soil and mushroom compost with all my additives. My question is can I fill them this fall and not plant in them till next spring or should I wait till spring to fill the holes. Thanks for any and all advice

You can prep them any time now. cover crop white clover. Cannabis is hungry for nitrogen you need to boost your soil with Chicken poo, fish, blood meal early in the growing season until 3rd week of flower.
